Owned by the United State Forest Service (USFS), the Town of Grand Lake aids in the management of this unique park. Bordered by Grand Lake and the Shadow Mountain Connecting Channel, the park offers ample access to non-motorized boats and fishing as well as an ideal place for picnicking, family events and outdoor weddings. The park can be reserved for 4 hours for one function and includes the use of the dock. Also included in the park reservation are 4 picnic tables, 3 outdoor charcoal grills, and restroom access. The lawn area can accommodate seating. The Town does not provide chairs. There are 7 parking spaces with 2 handicap spaces. Electric outlets are available at the restroom building and access must be requested in advance. Alcohol, tents and pets are not permitted in Point Park. Point Park is handicap accessible.
Specifics: the dock is 36' long, 11' wide with a 19' angled apron. Restrooms are 275' from the dock.
